Charge
Pond Equestrian Camping Area (Area C) of the Myles Standish State
Forest, Carver, Ma -Take
Rte. 495 to exit 2 (South Carver) and the intersection with
Rte. 58. Follow Rte. 58 NORTH. (do not turn left
onto 58 South towards Edaville) and take a right onto
Cranberry Road. There is a Myles Standish State Forest Sign
immediately before the road. Follow
Cranberry Road until you reach a Hairpin turn at the ranger's
station. You can check in and obtain maps at this office. We
encourage you to check in at the office because the sites have
moved this year. Please get a map at the station.

Trails of the Myles Standish State Forest, Carver, MA -
Take Rte. 495 to exit 2 (South Carver) and the intersection
with Rte. 58. Follow Rte. 58 NORTH. (do not turn
left onto 58 South towards Edaville) and take a right onto
Cranberry Road. There is a Myles Standish State Forest sign
immediately before the road. Follow
Cranberry Road until you reach a Hairpin turn at the ranger's
station. You can obtain maps at this office. When exiting the
ranger's station parking lot, take a right and follow the
signs for Charge Pond. Drive slowly the roads may have pot
holes. Take a left at the sign that says Equestrian Trails. |
